One time i saw some glitter on a chair and i thought a vampire from twilight farted on it. I took a big whiff of it and it smelled like rainbows and butterfly's. Is it really a vampire fart? or was i just imagining things? .

I have an incredibly hairy butt so what I do on hot days is I insert my fingers into my leaky moist buttcrack lengthwise then flex allowing all the bumjuice to absorb onto the skin of my fingers. Anyone Suffering from Chronic Hives?

This is actually going to be some advice for those people who have suffered with chronic hives for a long time. I had (idiopathic urticaria) hives with no known cause for over 2 years. I lived off of antihistimines and steroids(medrol dose packs and prednisone) and was in and out of the emergency room when I had outbreaks all over my body. I had been given the run around by all types of drs. And I was even given meds for what they believed was a stress disorder. I even had a blood test done for allergies but everything came back fine. I was unable to get the skin test because they ask you to come off of your medications for like a week before the test. And there was no way i could. I had to work and go to school. If i did that I'd look like a monster. But I eventually found a good ENDOCHRINOLOGIST and they found that i have hyperthyroidism/GRAVES DISEASE and the way that my body reacted to the disruption in my thyroid function was externally through hives. I had a blood test at this physicians office and they confirmed that the thyroid levels were too high and put me on Methimazole to help slow down thyroid hormone production. I slowly took myself off of the antihistimines and am taking only the methimazole now. I have been taking the medicine only a month or so and feel much better in some ways. I still feel tired and have a very hard time keeping weight on, but at this point i am not having to worry about hives. I just hope that someone who has the same problem will read this and find some hope here. Don't let a dr tell you that nothing is wrong with you. You know your body best and you know when something is wrong. I went through countless dr's and missed opportunities because of what I was suffering with, with no answers. Dont lose hope and keep looking until you get help.

Is General Chemistry Hard?

Hello everyone, I'm a mechanical engineer major and I'll be taking the first semester of the general chemistry sequence at a university this upcoming semester. This is the only chemistry class that I need. I transferred from a community college to CSU Long Beach and I'm done with the math, the first semester of calculus based physics, and the general ed requirements along with some engineering courses. I took an introductory chemistry class in 2007(college), which is the prerequisite for the general chemistry class, and did well in the class. It's been a while since I've seen any chemistry because I've been working full-time and gave priority to other things until now. I was just wondering, how much information overlaps between the two courses? Is this course hard relative to an introductory chemistry class? I'm not sure if it is a good idea to take this class without being fresh from chem. I'm not sure if this class reviews a lot of the basics before starting new information or if it jumps straight into new concepts and I'm expected to know electron configuration, the periodic table, molarity, etc. If the class is very similar to the introductory course offered in college, then it should not be a big deal for me. I was hoping someone could give me an insight by sharing similar experience. I'm going to try to review for the class, but I'm currently taking summer courses. If I can get away without reviewing and still be in a position to do well in the class then I'll just do that. For some reason, the department of chemistry likes to scare students who didn't take the intro right before taking general chemistry. By the way, the professor teaching the class has good reviews by other students.

My co-worker stinks up our washroom every day. Is there anything I can do to stop this?

My co-worker and I share a washroom in our office. I am her supervisor. We are fortunate enough to have a washroom to ourselves, but she goes in there every day at least once and has a very smelly bowel movement. She doesn't even try to hide the fact that she's going in there to crap. She'll make a comment like "Oh I have a runny tummy today" and then she goes in there for like 15 minutes. God help me if I have to pee anytime after that because I won't go near that bathroom. What really bothers me is that there are 2 more bathrooms down the hall that are more private. This is an office where there's a fair bit of traffic by our employees and sometimes, she'll come out and leave the bathroom door open and I get this whiff of crap. I don't want others to smell it because it's a disgusting way to welcome your staff. I don't crap at work and even if I absolutely had to, I would have the common sense to go and try to find a more private bathroom so as not to announce to the world that I am taking a dump. I don't go and use the other bathrooms because I am here all day, she is here 3/4 of a day, and I feel that I should be able to use a bathroom that's close by, especially because I don't make a day of going in there. She is a fair bit older than me (68) and will retire next December, but I guess it just bugs me that she has never adjusted her habits to take care of this at home or go and do it where it's less noticeable. I know I have to be careful with what I say, but I was wondering if there's a way to "drop a hint" about this. I find it disgusting.

Is your a little greasy/ oily maybe? I know the smell and i always just chalked it up to a greasy smell. That might be it, also keep in mind that through out the day we do sweat. Mix in natural oil you secrete, sweat, and hair product and yeah it can get a little stinky, and i'm with you i'm not a morning person, i wont get up to even eat breakfast. wash your hair nightly if possible, and invest in some dry shampoo for thoes days when there just isnt enough time. hormones play apart too you know, it might go away later on, did for me.

i use cool edit pro, which is a really good production program, and im really good with it. And i have a high quality condensor microphone, But it seems like every time i put vocals over a beat, it just dosnt sound like the pros... What should I major in for pre-med?

I am currently pre-med in my school but I have no idea what I should major in. My major is listed as Computer Science only because I like computers and it seems like a "safe degree". I could major in Biology I guess, but I think that seems too "predictable" for the admission committees for med school. My favorite subject is history, but I DO NOT want to teach if med school doesnt work out. I have no idea what I should major in. I want something that can somewhat overlap with pre-med requirements but at the same time provide me with a decent backup degree in case med school doesnt pan out.

How long is too long when you're recovering from a past relationship gone bad?

Long story short, the last guy I was with hurt me more than I imagined he could. What he did gave me lasting feelings of worthlessness and really bad trust issues that I had never experienced before. The worst of it hit about a month before I started talking to my current boyfriend, and I've been with this new guy for almost three months. Sometimes things that my boyfriend or the old guy (who sometimes talks to me on facebook) says will trigger those bad feelings that I'm still in the process of recovering from. Why does knifing suck so bad in Call of Duty: Black Ops?

Well first off there is a much smaller knifing range than mw2 probably because the designers realized how ridiculously unrealistic it is in mw2. Theres lungung because thats how you knife people.. Youre not assassinating them, youre stabbing the hell out of them, so the designers have to take into consideration the realistic affects of this. Also, if you miss, you miss. In real life if you go to stab someone, and you miss, you loose time for the action of lunging. So it makes sense in the game to be able to be shot while missing a lunge. As far as lagging, I don't know too much, but i would assume its whoever's system registers the kill first and sends it to the database/server. Of course if theyre lagging more you may lunge to where they were, but because they are lagging so much they are no longer there and you can't tell yet.

HELP!! VERY EMBARRESING moment at school, I really dont know how im going to go back! what do i do?

HELP! first of all, I am hijacking my mom, Jan's, yahoos account since I am not allowed to have my own just yet. Ok, back to earlier this morn when my life quickly came to a halt. OK, I will try to keep this clean lol. I had a baby a tad over a month ago, and I am trying to get back in shape. Women do tend to be more sensitive to odors in general, and I think even more so when they are on their period. So I don't think you have an odor problem that others notice, really. I think you are just a bit more sensitive to it and a little paranoid about it. I can tell you that most folks, and especially guys will not be noticing anything. I think this may just be an issue with your hormones making you a little crazy and afraid. And I think you should just relax and give things another month or so to settle down, and meantime- do try to relax about the odor worry. You most likely do not have a problem at all, and yes- you'd be more sensitive to it than anyone else.

Hey everyone. About a year & some months ago, I noticed an unusual lesion/spot on my scrotum. I ignored it thinking maybe it was a shaving bump or something. A while later, I noticed a bump on the tip of my penis, so I made a doctors appointment. After asking if it could be Lichen Planus (I did research before going) my MD said "No, this isn't Lichen Planus". After going to another two doctors (Urologist & Dermatologist) The Urologist said it looked to have been Dermatitis cause by perhaps fabric softener. Well, after that I got a little tired of having three doctors examining my penis, I just gave up. I still have the rash/lesions on my penis. They cause no discomfort other than appearance. I have also gotten similiar lesions over my body (lower back, shoulders) not alot of them, but they're there nonetheless. I also noticed that my crotch area has developed a foul odor since I discovered these lesions. Can Lichen Planus cause an odor? Sometimes, I can even get a whiff of it when standing up going to the bathroom & it makes me very uncomfortable. What if others can pick this smell up? Another thing that's made me very depressed (even suicidal) is I have masturbated ever since I've had this, and I worry the friction caused by this may have made these "Lichen scars" permanent and now I'm going to have them for life. I am going to be a sophomore this coming year at a private school in the suburbs. This past year, as a freshman, I took the the three honors courses that are offered for freshmen (physics, geometry, and spanish) as well as history and english. My final grades were a B+ in history, B in geometry and physics, and A- in spanish and english. I participated in two theatre productions at school (during the winter and spring) and contributed to three clubs. Next year I will be in all honors, except for history. If I move up to AP history in the middle of next year or do all honors my junior year, what will my chances of getting into an ivy league or the equivalent, or even Oxford or Cambridge be like? I haven't taken the SATs or PSATs or anything like that yet but I will next year. Please keep in mind that I will have 60 hours or more of community service by the end of my senior year and most probably three activity credits for each of my sophomore, junior, and senior years. I also plan to raise my grades next year, as I am not particularly happy with them at the present. Oh and I think my grades make my GPA about 3.7. Thanks for helping!!!

Problem w/ local theater, some insight?

I'm going to apologize right now for the length of this one. Okay, so the story goes my brother wqas crazy shy, but he found this little tiny theater program that put on plays in this 10 by 10 foot theater, and my brother found his love for drama in it, along with his confidance. A few more people join the theater, along with some parents, it gets a little bigger and they move to aan old movie theater, where they keep on putting on productions, the parents run the concessions and the place starts making a hundred bucks or so on every show they put on, the community is good with it.It is a volenteer program, and some realy great kids join, like my bother to find their confidance, and do. Then a pair of really creepy adults Join. The theater was started by Chuck and megan, who are very nice, but have no creep-o-meter what so ever. Creepy guy # one takes over tech stuff, and brings with him a bunch of creepy 15 year old kids who do tech as well, it starts to change the feel of the theater a little, but not bad since they were behind the scenes, problem being if you were to volenteer to do tech now, you had to pass creepy guy's assesment of you, and you haad no choice but to work with his set of obnoxious creeples. Now creepy guy # 2 shows up. He is a rich old dude, and he starts taking over concessions, what were chips and candy are now candy bar and wine. A kid is charged twice as much for a candy bar as an adult girl is. His little set of sluts starts hanging out smoking in front of the theater, getting rid of the family feel of the theater completly. Creepy guy # 2 starts calling it his theater, and now almost all of the good kids that were in the program have now dropped out because of the 2 creepy guys. Now, creepy guy #1 drops away from the theater because Chuck and megan get mad at him, taking with him the house crew, all the lights that the theater owned, and rocky. This was the first move in the right direction for the theater. Now, here is where my brother offers to run the theater for the next year, do the bills and such for them, and I offer to take over tech for them. I know this seems like we were offering to replace creeepy guy one, but our intentions are simply to help the theater, and we are not aiming for a monoply over the theater like they are. When my bro and I told chuck and megan that we would like to step in, they said yes, certainly. And we told them, along w/ several members of the community, that creepy guy needed to go, along with his alcohol and smoking sluts, and they said that they didn't think it would be that big a deal if creepy guy # 2 stayed. Now, my brother graduates highschool, and having planned on working at the theater for a year, he has nothing to do, and is somewhat up a creek with out a paddle because he had always planned on doing this. The theater is falling apart and becoming an eyesore because chuck and megan won't work on it, an dall the while I have been watching from the sidelines, and now I'm wondering what I Should do. I feel like chuck and megan might listen to me, but not if I'm a lone voice. My brother has tried to tell them about their problems too, but we aren't enough. Air Force Medical Waiver?

My 18 year old daughter is trying to join the Air Force Reserves. She's passed her ASVAB. Her toes are a bit overlapping. Doctors have said throughout her life that this was all cosmetic (not hammertoe, or anything of the sort). The approval for a waiver with the doctors letter was submitted 5/12/2011. She has a guaranteed job and entry date for Basic for July 5th and we haven't heard anything about the waiver yet (other than 'it's on the SG's desk") which the recruiter believes is a good sign. The recruiter is probably irritated at all my inquiries so I thought I'd ask here. Is this long a wait usual? Is this type of medical waiver usually approved? I was pulled over 6 months ago because my tail light was flickering. The officer ran my plates and license to issue and equipment violation ticket and told me my license was suspended. My car was towed and I was brought to the police station in the village I was pulled over asked for 100 dollars bail and given a court date. I found out the error was that the DMV did not pick up my new insurance policy electronically because the new and old one overlapped by one day and they picked up a cancellation the day after the new policy started which superseded the new policy (bad programming I guess) at any rate I gave this information and proof to the district attorney who dismissed my case. My question is whether or not those records would be sealed for the purposes of an employment background check. I am sure law enforcement could see such a record which is really no concern for me as it was dismissed but I worry that it may be prejudicial when trying to get a job regardless of its dismissal. My research has said that the records are sealed but I want to be sure, other states are different where you may have to request the record be expunged I do not think that is possible in NY but I want to be sure I don't want a clerical error to cost me a job.

What should I major in for pre-med?

I am currently pre-med in my school but I have no idea what I should major in. My major is listed as Computer Science only because I like computers and it seems like a "safe degree". I could major in Biology I guess, but I think that seems too "predictable" for the admission committees for med school. My ex boyfriend and I were best friends when he was married and we overlapped a bit (I know bad). Then he left his wife of 25 years to be with me properly and we had a brilliant relationship, very affectionate, loving, sexual, best friends, did lots together plus gave each other space etc. He found out a few months ago that she was going to move his daughter 500 miles away in July. It was forgotten about and we stayed happy and were due to go to the US on a road trip from Scotland (me, my son and my ex) in September. Everything was still great. He left my house for work in the morning as usual, the usual cuddle and kiss and see u later. 5 hours later he phoned and shouted at me that it was over (he has never shouted at me) and that he didn't see a future. I immediately thought is it because she is taking his daughter away. I asked to meet and talk and we did and he was just aggressive again which upset me to the point I told his ex about our relationship. Next thing he changed and said the reason was that he still had some feelings for his ex and was going to try get her back. A couple of days later he came back with more of my things and was much calmer, so we wished each other the best, I said i hoped he would get what he wished for, that I missed having him around after 4 years of friendship then relationship then we had a cuddle which was nice as it felt easier to move on. Then I had a pregnancy scare and told him, he insisted on coming over to talk saying we could get back together, Turns out he had her hiding in his car and after he left she came battering on my door and forced her way into my house screaming at me. She told me she made him bring her if he had a hope in hell of getting her back then she said she hasn't told him but she will never take him back she is just stringing him along. Two days later I went to his to try make peace and say goodbye nicely so as not to tarnish all our good memories with all the recent stuff (because we were best friends and of course I still care and wanted to wish him well) and he opened his door, screamed "no" and locked it. I tried to talk to him through it to say I only wanted to make peace and part nicely as we had never hurt each other. Then he says "I've phoned the police to report you for stalking me", **** off", strange since he had brought her to my house and gave me hell and i had only went to see him once to make peace not argue. I panicked and left as because I work in prison and cant get in any trouble, i was devastated and then made a huge mistake of phoning the police and reported him for having two illegal guns in his house (anonymously). I regret it now as he would most definitely lose his job and may even go to jail. I wish I could take it back but the police keep phoning me and i have complained though as it was supposed to be anonymous but they are turning up at my house and everything. How the hell have we ended up being so hateful to the point of calling the police on each other knowing we would lose our jobs, when only 2 weeks ago we were happy as larry and everything was rosy in the garden. Is this all because she told him that she was leaving the country with his daughter because he swore on his kids life to me only two days before he left that he never wanted his ex back. now he hates my guts and I cant understand how so quickly. I am terrified he has been arrested for having these weapons as I know he only had them as souvenirs from years ago. also he only left the army 2 months ago after 26 years so i don't know is he is a bit depressed. I don't want to be thinking he hates me for the rest of my life as we were best friends before and i don't want him to get in trouble, even though he does have them i should never have told on someone I claimed to love, no matter how much he hurt me i could have ruined his life. A question on Hair Bleaching. Please Help?

Ive recently bleached my hair few times to go platinum blonde. However the roots are still lighter than the rest. The roots and a few cm from them is white..where the rest is a pale yellow colour which I like. I have already toned it and dont wanna do it again as it left blue in my hair on the top. My question is im going to bleach my hair from the midlengths to the ends soon but how do i do it do I dont overlap the lighter already over bleached area at the top? Is this called spot bleaching? Obviously you had no idea what you were in for if you thought house breaking would be a "delight". Invest in a crate and crate train your puppy. Take him for several leash walks throughout the day (6 AM or earlier, before school/work, after he eats, naps, or plays) and praise him when he goes. If you have gone for a nice walk (20 minutes or so) and he has not gone, then put him in the crate for 30 minutes and then back out for another walk. Repeat. Enroll in obedience classes. You both can use it.

Please don't worry my friend, every pregnancy is different. You may be feeling sick and have sore boobs with one and then nothing with another. There are so many people on this site who have had no symptoms whatsoever. I have a friend who is 39 weeks pregnant and she had no symptoms at all no sore boobs no sickness nothing so don't worry. Some people's symptoms don't even start until much later on like week 8 etc so don't worry and enjoy your pregnancy!

I'm actually not trying to instigate here, I'm just gathering information to help me "figure things out". We know that the answer to this question is unknown, but surely some possibilities can be ruled out, like if they contradict scientific laws. How long is too long when you're recovering from a past relationship gone bad?

Long story short, the last guy I was with hurt me more than I imagined he could. What he did gave me lasting feelings of worthlessness and really bad trust issues that I had never experienced before. The worst of it hit about a month before I started talking to my current boyfriend, and I've been with this new guy for almost three months. Sometimes things that my boyfriend or the old guy (who sometimes talks to me on facebook) says will trigger those bad feelings that I'm still in the process of recovering from. My boyfriend doesn't understand why I can't get over the past, and he's not the most sympathetic about it. All of his past relationship "issues" were minor and happened over a year ago. He's had time to recover, I haven't. I really like my boyfriend and I've gotten a little better about my past issues, but I don't know when they will go away, if ever. Is this normal? is it okay that I still get bothered by the past and I need time to recover, even if it overlaps with my current relationship?

I'm addicted to my own scent?

Ever since I was two or three years old, I would sniff my blanket. I think it started of as a habit for young children but as I grew, I realised that there was this smell that was always on the blanket that I really liked. It was a comforting feeling to just sniff my blanket and my mom would take my blanket out every month to get washed. After it was washed, it smelt like regular, sun-dried linen and I hated it! But after a week or so, the smell would start to come back until it get's stronger. People who smell it tell me that it smells like a newborn baby... like you know how babies always have that milky scent? Well I'm beginning to think that the blanket smells because my own body odour rubs onto it. Does that mean that I smell like a new born baby? I'm now 14 years old and I've broken my habits a few times and even managed to remain away from my blanket sniffing for up to an year but I would just get addicted again if I have a few whiffs of the smell. My mom says that it's bad for my health to sniff the blanket but I've got no problems so far. I was wondering, will this give me lung cancer? Also, why am I addicted to it?

I have been taking whiffs of paint thinner like at least twice everyday, which its a very strong smell and contains petroleum distillates. I only do it bc someone poisoned me with something just like it. and I get nausea from it everytime even just when I think about it. my parents don't know but they know I have been doing crazy things and they want to get me evaluated for problems. and I feel im fine if I got away from the school that I got poisoned at and found away to stop whiffing the smell I'd be better.
