Should I be worried or go to the ER?
I was making a salad in the kitchen when my daughter came running into the kitchen and wacked the stove with her toy..and bent one of the knobs. (she's two. we use a baby gate but just this week she's started being tall enough to reach over and undo it) Anyway,I was worried that there might be a problem with this. So, I leaned over to smell if there was a problem. Apparently my daughter had bumped it when she bent it because when I leaned over I got a big whiff of strong gas smell. So, I turned the burner on and then off again. It seemed to work normally. Then, I waited ten minutes and smelled it again and there was no smell. But, then I started to freak out inside (not showing this to my kids) Is it bad to breathe in stove gas? I had been in the hospital recently with an infected incesion so I am on a LOT of meds. Could it reach with the meds? Should I be worried? I feel like an idiot could you please help know if I should be worried or not. I have never experienced this problem before. Thanks.
