Two Jehova�s witnesses came round and one of them smelled of alcohol. I thought they couldn�t drink?

I am so sorry that this happened please call the local kingdom hall and describe the person to the person on the phone or you may stop by during a meeting, and they will take care of the matter. Please ask for an elder. Jehovah's witnesses are not allowed to drink while they are preaching but if they are at a casual setting they are allowed to drink alcohol as long as they do not over do it. But if the person was drinking while or right before he went preaching that may mean that he has a problem and the brothers in that congregation need to know about it so they can help him.
